For sale in our Orlando showroom is a 1975 Alfa Romeo 1300 GT Junior. In 1965 Alfa Romeo introduced the GT Junior models to replace the aging Giulia Sprint and give Alfa a fresh face in the market place. These peppy little entry level coupe’s were powered by a 1.3l dual overhead cam 4 cylinder that when paired up with a 2000lb car made for a very capable handling Alfa. The styling of this era of Alfa was taken care of by the world renowned Giorgetto Giugiaro from Bertone. All of the usual Bertone elements from the mod era are present with the 1300, from the flat grill and integrated headlights to panoramic yet understated windows and glass. The fine example that we have at our Orlando showroom is a well maintained and strong running piece that was imported from Germany this year. It should be mentioned that the 1300GT and 1600GT were never imported to America which makes this a very rare opportunity to own one in the states. The interior of the Alfa will definitely make you feel like you are in a vintage spy movie, with classy gages and instrumentation the cabin has a very bond – esque feel to it and makes this plucky little coupe very fun to tool around in. Maintenance has been kept very up to date, just recently it received an oil change and tune up.
